WATCHDOG — TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Watchdog consumer service, including the Watchdog website, mobile app, alerts, subscription plans, image/video add-ons, and any related features (collectively, “Watchdog”).

By creating an account, enrolling in a Family Plan, or otherwise using Watchdog, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use Watchdog.

1. Who We Are

2. Eligibility

To create a Watchdog account, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Agree to these Terms

Minors may only be added to a Family Plan by a parent or legal guardian. Minors cannot directly access or manage a Watchdog account.

3. Account Creation & Family Plans

If you enroll additional individuals under a Family Plan, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal authority to provide their information
• You accept these Terms on their behalf
• You are responsible for the accuracy of their information
• You consent to Watchdog processing their data for monitoring purposes

4. What Watchdog Does

Watchdog uses patent-pending technology to surface potential online misuse of your name, image, and likeness (“NIL”). That includes potential:

• Impersonation
• Unauthorized image or video use
• Deepfake misuse
• Scam accounts
• Misinformation
• Identity fraud risks

Watchdog provides information only. It is a monitoring and alerting service—not a takedown service, law enforcement tool, or reputation management provider.

5. What Watchdog Does Not Do

To avoid any misunderstanding:

• Watchdog does not remove content
• Watchdog does not contact platforms on your behalf
• Watchdog does not guarantee accuracy or completeness of alerts
• Watchdog does not provide legal, professional, or security advice
• Watchdog does not monitor 24/7 — alerts are generated once per day

You are solely responsible for what actions you take based on any alerts you receive.

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree that you will:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information
• Only upload content you have the right to use
• Not use Watchdog to stalk, harass, surveil, or monitor others without consent
• Not misuse Watchdog for background checks, employment screening, or investigative purposes
• Comply with all applicable laws while using Watchdog

7. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and SafeHer does not store full credit card numbers or security codes.

Billing policies:
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
• All sales are final
• No refunds on annual or monthly plans
• You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges
• Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access until the end of your billing period

8. Data We Collect & Image Processing

By using Watchdog, you consent to SafeHer collecting and processing the following categories of information:

• Name, aliases, and identifying information you provide

• Email address and account details

• Profile images and any optional reference images you upload

• URLs, social handles, and search parameters you enter

• Alerts surfaced by the system (including text snippets and URLs)

• Device information, diagnostic logs, and usage analytics

• Stripe payment tokens (SafeHer does not store full card numbers or security codes)

Biometric / Image Processing (BIPA-Compliant Statement)

SafeHer does not collect, capture, purchase, receive, obtain, store, or otherwise use any “biometric identifiers” or “biometric information” as those terms are defined under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (“BIPA”).
SafeHer does not create, extract, or retain faceprints, facial geometry, facial embeddings, biometric templates, or any other biometric derivatives.

If optional image-matching is used to improve alert relevance:

• Temporary Processing Only:
  Your image may be transmitted to AWS Rekognition solely for the purpose of generating a momentary similarity score.

• No Biometric Creation or Storage:
  SafeHer does not use Rekognition to extract, generate, or store biometric identifiers or biometric information. Rekognition processes the image in real time and does not retain faceprints, facial geometry, embeddings, or biometric templates.

• Immediate Vendor Deletion:
  Comparison images, similarity scores, and processing artifacts are not stored by SafeHer and are deleted by AWS Rekognition in accordance with its transient processing model. SafeHer does not retain any biometric data or derivatives.

• Reference Images Only:
  SafeHer retains only the original reference image you upload for account functionality (for example, to help surface more relevant alerts). This image is not analyzed for facial geometry and is not converted into a biometric identifier or biometric information.

SafeHer does not sell, lease, trade, or disclose any images to third parties except to processing vendors acting solely on SafeHer’s instructions and only for the limited purposes described above.

9. Intellectual Property

Watchdog and all associated trademarks, software, content, and designs are the exclusive property of SafeHer, Inc.

Users may not:

• Reverse engineer
• Copy or scrape Watchdog data
• Use Watchdog data for commercial purposes
• Modify or create derivative works

10. Termination

SafeHer may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your payment fails and is not corrected
• You misuse the platform

You may delete your account at any time.

11. Disclaimers

Watchdog is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

SafeHer makes no guarantees regarding:

• Accuracy of alerts
• Completeness of coverage
• Continuous or error-free operation

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• SafeHer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• SafeHer’s total liability will not exceed the amount paid in the past 12 months

13. Binding Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration, not in court.

You also waive the right to participate in any class action.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles.
